AGROPARC at the leading edge of I.T.

AGROPARC, The I.U.P. ( the University Professional I.T. Engineering Institute ), the Avignon branch of the Vaucluse Chamber of  Commerce & Industry, and companies of the I.T. & Communications sector work together at the Science Park in an Association aimed at developing I.T. and the telecommunications network in the Greater Avignon area and th Vaucluse in general (Association AVIGNON INFOPOLE).


Made up of Research workers, University staff, company managers & engineers this Skills Pole includes :

• Instruction ( in particular those students reading engineering ) ;
• Research ;
• A network of companies 

Acting as spokesperson in local socio-professional institutions, local authorities  & the media, the Association has the following key objectives :

• The development in the Science Park of this kind of business ;
• Keeping all members up-to-date with the latest information on all aspects of technological innovation ;
• Encouraging information sharing and technological transfer through the high-level skills base of the IUP ;
• Sharing means, particularly technical ones ;
• Teaming up to produce a more attractive offer for the market place.
